Jessica Linn Evans is an author-illustrator and SCBWI member. She renders her art with traditional media including watercolor, graphite, and ink. She loves to craft stories where illustrations do the heavy lifting in tales that include adventure, friendship, and a little bit of peril. 

She is the author of The Adventures of Penguin and Friends wordless picture book series. The first book is a re-release of her 2020 book PENGUIN SETS SAIL. In the following books, Penguin meets new friends and new perils as he travels the world in PENGUIN TO THE RESCUE and PENGUIN TAKES FLIGHT. Releasing September 30, 2025, from Canonball Books.

She has also illustrated Not Finished Yet: Trusting God with All My Feelings, by Sharon Garlough Brown (IVP Kids, 2024), The Elk King: Tales from Animalia Book One, by Jenn Discher (2022), Waiting Through Winter by Jason Farley (Jovial Press, 2015), Little Mouse Finds A Friend by Jeni Leidenfrost (Jovial Press, 2017), and Solar The Polar by Kim Constantinesco (MacLaren-Cochrane, 2017).

Jessica lives in the beautiful state of Idaho with her husband and three of her four delightful children.
