Jessica Linn Evans is an author-illustrator and SCBWI member who lives in Idaho with her husband, her delightful children, and a backyard full of birds. All her illustrations are rendered with traditional media: watercolor, graphite, and ink. Jessica loves crafting stories where illustrations do the heavy lifting, featuring adventure, friendship, and a little bit of peril. 

She is the author of the wordless picture book series The Adventures of Penguin and Friends. The first book is a re-release of her 2020 book PENGUIN SETS SAIL. In the following books, Penguin meets new friends and new perils as he travels the world in PENGUIN TO THE RESCUE and PENGUIN TAKES FLIGHT.

Besides the Penguin and Friends series, she has illustrated several other books for children, including Little Mouse Finds a Friend, Waiting Through Winter, and Not Finished Yet.
