My original watercolor from Waiting Through Winter is on display in Seattle at the Washington State Convention Center, Level 2, South Galleria. Head down between July 1 and September 30 for the Super Duper Summer Show and experience the work of 75 illustrators from the Inland Northwest and Western Washington SCBWI.

I participated in a live painting event at the 12th Annual Moscow (Idaho) Artwalk. I had a lot of fun chatting with folks. The piece I was working on was auctioned off in a silent auction during the event.

Sometimes story ideas come with visuals and you have to get them down on paper. Don’t know when this fairy tale will see the light of day, but I’m excited about the prospect.
